Introduction

We provided Mechanical services to this existing office facility in Birchwood. The refurbished building was part of an upgrade to the clients existing building stock to transform into modernised lettable spaces.

Challenge

The challenge was to provide the mechanical services to the building refurbishment whilst also navigating the removal of the existing systems, such as chillers and fan coil units. When working on site, the safe removal of existing services was imperative in order to keep all personnel away from hazards.

Solution

Charleson Building Services provided Mechanical design and installation services to the refurbishment of open plan offices, breakout space and communal facilities.

The services included ventilation modifications, heating and cooling via VRF systems, public health system, modifications and upgrades to existing plant equipment. The services installations were designed by in-house teams and installed all within a project duration of 12 weeks.

Project features included working with and analysing existing system installations, before selecting and creating proposals for replacement.

Result

A successful, commissioned mechanical project was delivered on time, within budget and to meet the objectives of the client delivery teams.
